Fractals is a series of works in progress that captures the essence of light, surface and water, resting on the line between abstraction and representation. I consider forms created by ripples in the sand or the receding lines of waves a foundation for further deconstruction of the objects and images I paint. Fundamentally, it is change I am painting and finding the tipping point between the conceptual and the visible.
